What’s the difference between the VibraCool models?

What types of injuries can VibraCool be used for?
VibraCool is effective for a variety of acute injuries, including but not limited to:

Is Vibracool TENS?
No, VibraCool is not TENS or E-Stim.
TENS units function by electrical stimulation (e-stim) of muscles. TENS units send electrical signals directly through the skin and muscles to stimulate motor nerves. For this reason, TENS units are not useable for individuals with pacemakers. The electrical current travels the shortest possible distance, stimulating only the most surface level nerves in the skin.
VibraCool's mechanical stimulation (m-stim) comes from the specific frequency of vibration studied to relieve pain. No electrical energy is transferred into or through the body, only mechanical motion from the vibration. M-Stim technology is safe for use alongside pacemakers. Nerves are designed to feel motion. M-Stim penetrates deeper into the body, triggering sensation receptors for movement and positioning which the brain rates as more important than pain or surface level touch sensations.
How Do I Change the Batteries in my VibraCool?
Changing the batteries in your VibraCool with 2 alkaline AAA batteries.
Changing the batteries in your VibraCool is easy! Unscrew the back using a Philips head screwdriver. Remove the back panel, then carefully remove batteries. Replace with 2 alkaline AAA batteries. If your VibraCool is not being used for an extended period of time, remove batteries for storage.
Which product works best for gout?
Gout can flare up in different joints, so the right VibraCool unit depends on where you feel the pain.
If the discomfort is on the foot, VibraCool Plantar is the way to go. Position it on top of your foot with the logo facing upward.
For gout affecting the knees or ankles, VibraCool Extended offers the best fit and relief.
If the pain is in your wrist, hand, or elbow, VibraCool EasyFit is the most comfortable and effective option.
